All About the the Townsville Handyman:
G’Day! My name is Wyatt Frazer, and I’m The Townsville Handyman.
After 22 years in the army I wanted to do something different and spend less time away from my family, but I still wanted a job where I could problem-solve, work with my hands and interact with people, and that’s how The Townsville Handyman was conceived!
My practical skills have developed since childhood when my family moved around following my dad’s army postings. This gave me the opportunity to help with repair and maintenance jobs on a range of different houses. When dad got out of the army my family bought a house and settled and my skills developed further as we did major renovations and landscaping. We also bought a sugar-cane and cattle property which gave me an even broader range of practical skills and experience and a work ethic that served me well as I entered the workforce.
Over the years that I was in the army, my growing family and I posted around Australia and overseas, and I continued to accumulate skills and knowledge as I maintained, repaired and improved the various houses that my family and I lived in, as well as the wide range of buildings, bunkers, shipping containers, tents, etc that I’ve lived and worked out of on deployments and exercises.
Over the same period, my wife and I also bought and sold a number of investment properties. This gave me more experience at repairs and renovations, and (when I wasn’t around to do things myself) it gave me an appreciation for the value of a good handyman who could be relied upon to do a job properly, thereby reducing subsequent stress and expense.
My family and I have now settled in Townsville, and I’m available to offer my services to you.
